Brixton is committed to being a socially responsible company. This is not just the right thing to do – we believe it makes good business sense.
Many people have an interest in how we run our business and our success depends in part on creating and maintaining good relationships. We do this by taking care of the environment, our employees and our customers and by being a considerate neighbour and a good customer to our suppliers.
Investors are taking a growing interest in how companies manage social and environmental issues. We may attract investment from the growing number of socially responsible investment (SRI) funds by demonstrating that we manage our non-financial risks effectively.
This Corporate Responsibility (CR) Review outlines our policy and approach to managing environmental and social issues. It is updated on a regular basis. We recognise that we still have work to do to drive improvements in our CR performance and we continue to review areas where we believe there is progress to be made.
